I personally respect Senator Joe Biden for his life experience, overcoming personal tragedy, and professional accomplishments. I do not agree with him on most anything in the social spectrum. I am posting today not to tear into Joe Biden or Barack Obama, but I am very concerned that media outlets have yet to really expose the fact that Joe Biden did not grow up knowing physical labor.
The democrats would love to emphasize the fact that Joe Biden is the "lunchbox" democrat who stands in the gap for blue collar workers throughout his constituency. Joe Biden did overcome a stuttering problem, and has stared death in the face with the loss if his first wife and one year old daughter. His loss can never be dismissed or thrown out as not important to who he is, but he does not have blue collar experience.
Joe Biden’s father was never employed in a job that required physical labor. His father was in sales, small business ownership, and executive level employment. His grandfather was a Pensylvania State Senator and he went to a prestigous high school and colleges.
Most blue collar families struggle, go to public schools, attend community colleges if possible, and work their way up. I just do not agree with the way they portray Joe Biden as this blue collar ambassador who has been through the hard work of mining and steel work of Pennsylvania. Just keep the truth at the forefront.
